I feel stupid

I’ve been driving a ‘71 bug for almost 8 years and today I crashed it. 
I (stupidly) forgot to put up the manual brake and it rolled downhill, backwards onto a wall. We just had the engine fixed last week.
Actually, I’ve been forgetting to put up the brake for a couple of weeks. It was only a matter of time until something happened. 

Obviously, I can’t afford fixing my own car, so I feel worse for getting bailed out.
I’m too bummed out to take any pictures.
